About Us
About TA Studio
A small game tech-art studio turning production pipelines into repeatable engineering practice.
About the studio
TA Studio (Chinese name 「T不动A不了」) came together among technical artists who had bounced between AAA productions and indie projects. The single question we keep returning to: when performance budgets, visual targets and team size all shift at once, how does a pipeline stay coherent?
Three things sit at the studio's center. A self-published course series, hands-on tech support for small teams, and engineering notes that occasionally turn into blog posts. The courses are not a training business; they are deliberate post-mortems of solutions we have shipped. The tech support is not a body-shop contract; we step in for a window of time and leave behind a process the team can keep running.
How we work
Anyone working in tech art knows the gap between "it runs" and "it runs correctly." We prefer to walk learners and partners through the full validation chain rather than hand over only the final artifact.
In practice: quantify the target before picking a tool, reuse community work before writing custom code, and make sure every decision can be written into a weekly note.
What we do not do
We do not ship demos we have not validated, take on work that requires fudged performance numbers, or skip steps a team needs to learn for themselves. Those boundaries make the work easier on everyone involved.
Team
The studio is a small group of long-time collaborators. Different project backgrounds, brought together by a shared interest in doing similar work in a more structured way.
